Subtitles

The theatre offers performances surtitled / subtitled in French and English making the joy of theatre accessible to hard-of-hearing and English-speaking patrons in the greater Geneva area.

Tablets

Only on the dates indicated below, the theater offers surtitles / subtitles in English and French on surtitle / subtitles tablets.

The tablets are very easy to use, and you can read the surtitles / subtitles from any seat in the auditorium.

To use a tablet, you need to reserve it in advance. Read the procedure below.

English subtitles

For some shows, surtitles* are projected above the stage for two or three performances per show. Projected surtitles are only used if the scenography allows it.

Please refer to the show page a few weeks before to check if this option exists.

If projected surtitles are not possible, surtitles will be provided on tablets only. In order to read comfortably, your seat should be centred and located in the upper portion of the auditorium.

*Similar to film subtitles, surtitles are so named because, unlike subtitles, which appear below the action on screen, surtitles are projected above the stage.

When you make your reservation, let us know that you need a tablet.

Monday and Saturday closed
30 minutes before the show, ask for the tablet at reception, in exchange for your ID.
After the show, return the tablet to reception and pick up your ID.
