Pierre Richard is a living legend of French cinema, and writer-director Mathilda May created this piece especially for him. Funny, magical, and mysterious, this hour-long show is performed without words and falls halfway between naturalism and Theatre of the Absurd. Overjoyed to rediscover the world of Keaton, Chaplin and Tati, our “Confather” Pierre Richard is as dazzling as ever with his gangly “Moonstruck Pierrot” presence. A fresh and delicious confection to lead us into summer with levity.
