Four new works

Presented in Hamburg in August, the latest creations by New York choreographer and dancer Lucinda Childs are a symphony to minimalism. Three group pieces and a solo make up these “four new works”, for which she invites Bach, lifelong friend Philip Glass, and Hildur Guðnadóttir, winner of the 2020 Oscar for best film score. Added to these guests is the artist Anri Sala, who directed the video installation Day Still Night Again, in which she performs a reprise of the solo Geranium (1965).
Tunes, voices, lights, and bodies: welcome to the elegant yet minimalist world of Lucinda Childs.
