10000 Gestures

One intense hour. One hour of a choreography where no move is ever repeated. There is joy and nostalgia in Boris Charmatz’s 10,000 Gestes – now returning nearly ten years after its 2017 premiere. Each movement fleeting and unique. Singing, kissing, toe-licking, giving birth, flipping the bird or soaring mid-air… it’s an “impossible collection”, a living, vanishing anti-museum of choreography. For its Geneva debut, no two viewers will see the same performance. For everyone, it will be unforgettable.
