THEATRE RIGHT ON YOUR DOORSTEP!
Since 2016, the Théâtre de Carouge has been touring the canton of Geneva with its mobile theatre. It’s a practical way of reaching out to the residents of Geneva’s municipalities and enabling everyone to enjoy our travelling theatre.

Because theatre has, in its very DNA, a desire to hit the road; because sometimes we lack the time to go to it, or simply the freedom we allow ourselves to do nothing else and let ourselves be carried away by that very special moment when a story is shared with us; because we love to open doors, to surprise, to explore new paths; because we have set ourselves the mission of enabling theatre to exist beyond its walls: since 2016, the Théâtre de Carouge has been touring the Canton of Geneva with its mobile theatre truck. A nomadic, mobile theatre – a tangible way of reaching out to the residents of Geneva’s municipalities and enabling everyone to enjoy our travelling stage.
Summer 2026
In early summer 2026, the Camion-théâtre will be hitting the road with Vous avez dit Barbe Bleue ?, a collaborative production by À l’Ouest Cie and Guillaume Pidancet, loosely based on Charles Perrault’s fairy tale Bluebeard. From late August 2026, the theatre truck will be back on the road with La Demande en mariage and L’Ours.
