Almost Hamlet

Gilles Privat has performed some of his greatest roles here in Carouge: Arnolphe, Argan, Alceste, Uncle Vanya and Cyrano de Bergerac – quite the resume! A truly extraordinary artist, Privat is depth, humanity and humour personified. Based on an idea from (and with the terribly British contribution of) director Dan Jemmett, this dream team has created a hilariously real fake convention around Shakespeare’s iconic play. A veritable homage to theatre and a little explosion of happiness.
