Educational tours
Right at the heart of an experimental theatre, pupils are given a glimpse behind the scenes and an insight into how shows are put together, both before and after performances – a blend of magic and practicality!

Teaching resources
Each production in the season is accompanied by an educational pack (in french) prepared either by us or by the producing theatre company. Once you have booked your tickets, it will be sent to you around one month before the performance.

How do we move from a classic text studied in class to a stage production?
Have we fully grasped the themes explored by the play and the director’s interpretation?
A theatre guide introduces the production, the various theatre professions and the historical context, and reminds the audience of the appropriate behaviour to adopt when attending the performance.

Pupils are invited to take a look behind the scenes of the show, explore the sets and visit the various construction and design workshops at the Théâtre de Carouge.
It is also an opportunity for discussion, where pupils can share their feelings and opinions about the show.

It is possible to meet the artistic team behind the shows, subject to their availability.
This can take place in the classroom, at the theatre as part of a visit, or after the performance.

An actor or actress not currently performing offers participatory theatre workshops in classrooms to introduce pupils to the art of theatre.

You can sign up for activities when you book your places, subject to availability.
Please let us know, if possible, which dates you are available for these activities.
Once your places have been booked and confirmed, our educational activities coordinator will arrange the various sessions with you, depending on your availability and that of the facilitators.
