    \n Does Brigitte Rosset really need an introduction? The actress is part of the extended family of theatre lovers and has appeared at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Carouge in numerous productions, most recently in La Crise<\/em> by Coline Serreau, directed by Jean Liermier. The sense of closeness audiences feel towards her also stems from her willingness to bring her own life as a woman and an artist onto the stage, through solo performances marked by disarming sincerity and constant humour. Without taboos, she has spoken of marriage, divorce, depression and rebuilding. Midway through her own life, and following the death of her mother in 2020, she discovers her grandfather\u2019s notebook\u2014he was a professor of medicine and columnist for La Gazette <\/em>de Lausanne\u2014as well as sound recordings made by her grandmother. She then plunges into her childhood memories, returning to the time when she first discovered opera, learned the names of plants and wondered about the mysterious purpose of a fish knife.

    From this material, a text emerged\u2014an expression of gratitude. Through this kaleidoscope of a life, she seeks to preserve the best memories and share them with the audience. With wit and tenderness, she embodies the characters of her family pantheon and summons a host of benevolent ghosts. By retracing her own path, Brigitte Rosset subtly invites each spectator to revisit their own. <\/div>\n
